Medicinal plant resources management projects produce results

EU - China Environmental Governance Project EGP funding, international wildlife trade research organization (TRAFFIC), World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), Viacom Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Wecome), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) together recently held commitment to "Chinese enterprises to participate in Chinese medicine medicinal plant resources management (EGP-MAPs) project," concluded the General Assembly in Beijing.
Chinese enterprises to participate in Chinese medicine medicinal plant resources management (EGP-MAPs) project since 2013 started in Zhejiang and Hunan provinces to pilot the pharmaceutical companies to promote the concept of social responsibility, while promoting at the national level in the pharmaceutical industry and sustainable standards of social responsibility policy advice work. The current development of "Chinese enterprises sustainable supply chain social responsibility guidelines" and praised the outcome of the industry and beyond.

International wildlife trade monitoring program Chinese officials, TRAFFIC application "FairWild Standard" and the pilot pharmaceutical companies together to create a sustainable supply chain and to prepare "in the pharmaceutical industry Medicinal Plants for Sustainable Supply Chain Management Guide", to fill the industry CSR gaps, but also for the future of national standards provides a technical basis and industry experience.
